A great gift from Lama Zopa Rinpoche

We are delighted to share news with you that fills us with gratitude and joy!
Our precious Master and spiritual director Lama Zopa Rinpoche he has us donato, surprisingly, a big one Lama Tsongkhapa's thangka for the Monastery, directly from Nepal.

It seemed to us a sign of great hope and support for the project of the new Temple which in these days is having important positive developments, which we will tell you about as soon as possible.

We are immensely grateful to Rinpoche and we hope that the precious thangka will soon be placed in the Lhungtok Choekhorling monastery in Pomaia.

We dedicate the merits and virtues of this gift to all sentient beings.

The monks and nuns of the Sangha Onlus Association have as their main objective the construction of a monastic complex that will be open to all the ordained Sangha, with two separate entities, one male and one female.

Inspired and strongly desired by the Venerable Geshe Jampa Gyatso, the Association was established in 2005.
It is currently made up of a monastic community of nearly thirty monks and nuns, mainly Western, who have chosen to follow the practice of Buddha's teaching, preserving its great spiritual and philosophical value, in harmony with contemporary thought.

We count on your support to carry out the construction of a monastic complex that will be accessible to all, as a place of openness to others and to inter-religious dialogue, with some spaces dedicated to silence, contemplation and spiritual counseling.
