Chotrül Düchen - Day of Miracles
Day of the Buddha's Miracles (Chotrül Düchen), in which the Monlam period ends (the first 15 days after the Tibetan New Year) and which recalls the wonders shown by Buddha Shakyamuni who showed his disciples, and people who doubted his enlightenment, many miracles for inspire their faith.
It is a particularly auspicious day for all positive actions because, according to tradition, their karmic value is multiplied by millions of times.
Our precious and unforgettable master Lama Zopa Rinpoche during the days of Monlam, recommends taking the precepts in the morning, reciting the Vajrasattva mantra, practicing prostrations to the 35 Buddhas, and reading the Sanghata Sutra.

Specific practices recommended by Lama Zopa Rinpoche for the days that multiply the merits
There are four great holy days in the Tibetan Buddhist calendar, each of which celebrates the anniversary when Buddha Shakyamuni performed extraordinarily powerful deeds for the benefit of sentient beings. In these four days, the karmic results of actions are multiplied by 100 million, as taught in the Vinaya text “Treasure of Quotations and Logic”.
