from 18 to 25 July 2026

We look forward to seeing you from Saturday 18th to Saturday 25th July 2026, in the beautiful city of Assisi and the evocative setting of the Oasis of the Sacred Heart, for the third edition of our annual meditation retreat on the Lam Rim, Liberation in the Palm of Your Hand.
The retreat will be led by Ani Ciampa Tashi, with the support of monk Marco Castaldi and Stefano Gaviglio, and the presence of monk Massimo Stordi, President of the Sangha Foundation.
A special opportunity to meditate together on the gradual Path to Enlightenment, in a unique and deeply spiritual setting.
Participation in the retreat will also be of great benefit to us in creating the most favorable conditions for the Monastery's development and supporting our activities. To make this event even more meaningful, we have reserved the entire facility to ensure exclusivity and tranquility during the retreat, which will be in-person only.
More details on the program will follow shortly, and we can already tell you that we will have the opportunity to participate in very special moments of interreligious discussion.

The Oasi Sacro Cuore is located just outside the walls of Assisi, a short walk from the Sanctuary of San Damiano and the Basilica of Santa Chiara. It was founded in 1933 by Father Agostino Gemelli and Blessed Armida Barelli, founders of the Catholic University.
The property is surrounded by greenery, a park of ancient trees, and offers comfortable rooms, some with views of the city or the plain.
