His Holiness the Dalai Lama: Offering of 1.000 Buddhas for Long Life

On May 24, at 8:00 am Indian time, all of the FPMT family will have the incredibly precious opportunity to offer a life long puja to His Holiness the Dalai Lama at the Namgyal Monastery in Mcleod Ganj, India.

We plan to offer a thousand statues of Shakyamuni Buddha, and these beautiful statues are being made, gilded with gold, filled with mantras, painted and consecrated in Nepal, according to Lama Zopa Rinpoche's wish. It will take time to make a thousand Buddha statues, a few hundred statues will be offered initially during the current long life puja. The other statues will be offered over the next few months as they are completed.
Also, two beautiful life-size statues of Padmasambhava and Namgyalma will be offered and presented to His Holiness during the long life puja.

You are all welcome to donate or sponsor one of these statues ($300 each). Each contribution to the statues means participating in the entire offering to His Holiness: https://fpmt.org/support/one-thousand-buddhas-sponsor/.

Offerings are also accepted for His Holiness' long life puja: https://fpmt.org/support/longlifepuja-hhdl/

In 2019, Lama Zopa Rinpoche also offered a thousand Buddha statues to His Holiness on behalf of the FPMT. In recent teachings statues have often been seen in livestreams, lined up behind Holiness of him. These statues are not only an auspicious offering but are also very useful, as His Holiness often gives them to people who visit him.
“By offering to His Holiness the Dalai Lama, you are making an offering to all buddhas and countless bodhisattvas. This generates unlimited skies of merit, every day and every second.” – Lama Zopa Rinpoche
May this offering create the cause for His Holiness the Dalai Lama to remain in this world as long as there are sentient beings.
