We are grateful to share with you some moments of the special day of Saturday 30 September 2023.
In the morning we gathered on the hill of the Lhungtok Choekhorling Monastery together with the many friends of the project, to celebrate the official installation ceremony of Geshe Thubten Chonyi as Abbot of our Monastery. A historic moment for our Association, another important step towards the realization of the Monastery and for our monastic community, which finds in Khen Rinpoche a precious and highly qualified guide.
Thanks to Khen Rinpoche's generosity after the ceremony we were able to benefit from his Teachings on "The Three Main Aspects of the Path" by Lama Tsongkhapa. A text that was written for Tsakho Ngawang Drakpa, to instruct him on the correct way to practice dharma and which retraces the stages of the path towards enlightenment, focusing attention on the causes to achieve it.
The visit of Khen Rinpoche Geshe Thubten Chonyi to Italy continues.
We are waiting for you in Assisi for an interreligious dialogue together with the Franciscan community of the Basilica of the Sacred Convent of Saint Francis, on Friday 6 October at 15 pm, in person and online via the YouTube channel @SanFrancescoAssisi.
