On the occasion of his visit, for the first time in the history of Tibetan Buddhism in Italy, we officiated, together with the monks of Kopan, the consecration ceremony of the monastery land called "Taking possession of the land".
The very complex and detailed ritual was carried out mainly where the Temple of the Monastery will be built from scratch, with the aim of keeping the elements and all living beings that live in the area in harmony.
An important and fundamental step, which had to be carried out before the start of the works, which will most likely begin in spring 2024.
Khen Rinpoche's visit was the opportunity to formalize his installation as Abbot of our Lhungtok Choekhorling Monastery.
